Post Graphic novel inspired indie game
Hey, I just want to tell you fellow graphic novel fans about a project that I work on.

It’s a game with graphics strongly inspired by art noir graphic novel artist like Frank Miller and Mike Mignola. The game is an action-adventure war game set in the 19th century where you take the role as a young soldier.

We are a small indie game company based in Copenhagen, Denmark. We put a lot of time into the development of the visual style and are currently work on a playable demo.

Our vision is to create a game with unique and beautiful graphics which offers both a great story arc, psychological drama and action packed sequences. We will do this with a hybrid between the multiple-choice adventure game and casual mini-game genres.

I would really love to hear what you think of the graphics and the project in general:)

You can see and follow the project here - there is a lot more artwork on our FB page:

If you would like to support the project, a “like” on FB would show that theres is an interest and help us secure further funding for the project:)

I look forward to hear from you!

/Benjamin

A minor detail: 1864 is in the 19th century, not the 18th. The 18th century covers the period from 1701-1800.

Well, it’s actually the plan to print a graphic novel when the game is done. We are not sure how we will collect all the graphics. The game has different story lines depending on your choices, so maybe the graphics novel should be like the old Fighting Fantasy books where you choose you own path. But no matter what, we will aim to collect all the great graphics that are made to the game.
