 ComicPress Archives
Sorry if this has been answered, but I just got my site up and running with Bluehost/ComicPress. Sorry about the crappy colours on the comicpress part, though. http://www.guardianscomic.com/I'm reallllly confused by the archive system. I really just want something clear and easy, like a grouping of thumbnails, or something like this: http://requiem.seraph-inn.com/archives.html

 Re: ComicPress Archives
I'm not very good with this particular ComicPress aspect, but I do know that what you want can be achieved through HTML. Just add a new page in your WordPress dashboard, call it ARCHIVE, and add everything in there in code. Just simple links. If there's a simpler way to do this I would sure love to know about it. I went through all the archive options in ComicPress and didn't see anything like it, but maybe there's a plug-in or something.

 Re: ComicPress Archives
Thanks iaviv. I figured it out. You have to go to the 'comicpress options' then 'archives and templates' . Click on "Enable comics to be displayed as mini thumbs in order?" Unclick "Archive Text Links instead of Images" The archive will now show thumbnails like so: http://www.guardianscomic.com/category/ ... -1/page/2/

 Re: ComicPress Archives
Oh, yeah, I know that. I though you wanted something else. The reason I didn't go with this option myself is it's way too heavy. Think about how long it'll take to load once you have hundreds of pages (when I started using ComicPress I already had hundreds of pages)!

 Re: ComicPress Archives
The way I have it is by issues.
Within the issues, there are five pages currently with 10 thumbnails each (though I'd like to change that if I could to fit maybe 20 per page so the total issue is only 4-5 pages).
Each issue is max 100 pages, so it's not too big of a deal to scroll through them. I honestly wish I could put more on each page...do you know how to do that?
I don't want to do it the other way because it's a pain to update it. I have to update the page on several different sites for now (hopefully only my site in the future), so it's bothersome to have to spend extra time updating the archive.
