 Eisner awards now accepting submissions
http://www.comic-con.org/cci/cci_eisners_main.phpThought you would like to know! "Creators can submit materials for consideration if their publisher is either no longer in business or unlikely to participate in the nomination process." So we can suggest our own work, being independent. It's probably a long shot in my case but it would be silly not to at least try.

Re: Eisner awards now accepting submissions
Yeah I'm going to do this too. So I'm assuming that even when submitting a url for a webcomic you need to mail in a written submission not just email it.

Hmm I'm not sure, but the pdf gives more detailed instructions, maybe it answers that.

Re: Eisner awards now accepting submissions
Thanks for the heads up! I'm not sure if I can submit reMIND yet since it's not published yet. Maybe I need to read the submission guidelines. hah

Re: Eisner awards now accepting submissions
I emailed my submissions. The page said Quote: The best digital comic category is open to any new, professionally produced long-form original comics work posted online in 2010. Webcomics must have a unique domain name or be part of a larger comics community to be considered. The work must be online-exclusive for a significant period prior to being collected in print form. The URL and any necessary access information should be emailed to jackie@comic-con.org.Emphasis added. They TOLD me to email them, so I did. I'll let you whether it works

Re: Eisner awards now accepting submissions
I just got a reply back that said: Quote: I will pass your submissions along to the judges. So if you do up a proper submission over email with links to everything, it looks like that's what they need!

Re: Eisner awards now accepting submissions
I'm not sure I'm getting this correctly, can anyone tell if these are open to books printed outside the US, or are limited to US publications??
