Forum rules

One thread per graphic novel project to keep out the clutter. In other words, don't start a new thread for each page. No webcomics (newspaper type funnies) that have no order. This is only for a series of pages that create a full story or chapter. If there is a demand for a webcomic section then let me know and I'll add one.

Post Waking Wally Street
Hi everyone! This is my creation, Waking Wally Street. I plan on releasing the series in comic book chapters and then plopping them into a graphic novel eventually. I'm really excited because we have already finished issue 1 and are a few weeks away from a finished second issue (seemed a lot harder than the first)!

Here is a little paragraph about it:

After his murder, Wally Street awakens to a colorful afterlife. Looks are deceiving as Wally finds that this cute world is full of danger, a second death lingers with every footstep. Although many of the different animal species here have trouble coexisting, there is one thing that they all share, memories from their past lives of a human-dominated Earth and the extreme global mistreatment (on the environment and animals) that came with it. Putting their differences aside, under one movement, the animals have agreed that the human race is a cancer that threatens this new utopia. The human race must be exterminated.

Below is a look at the first ten pages from issue 1:

Thanks for checking it out!!!

Hey Ryan - thank you for sharing your work, you've created something quite promising. I'd say to be sure to set an establishing shot or at least a wide enough shot so as the reader can get the sense of place immediately. In the first 2 pages this doesn't happen until the 3 page when we get that information or a hint of where the setting is. But all in all, it's a fine piece. Cheers
